In 2004 Bob Rye started training with the “old master” Heinz and when it was time for Heinz to retire, Bob Rye and Norma Marten took over the operations.
Having worked in the manufacturing sector for over 25 years, Bob brought valuable knowledge and experience. Combining his experience with the knowledge of roll shutters passed down from Heinz, Bob was able to give customers high-quality products that were intelligently built to reduce waste and cost to consumer as much as possible. Now it is time for Bob to be referred to as the “old master” as DDK was purchased by Sebastian and Breanne Kellner in 2022 and they now operate the business under Sunrise Rollups and Shades.
Sebastian Kellner grew up in Germany working in the family business where he gained experience in management, foreign trade, and construction. Two years after marrying his Canadian sweetheart Breanne, they decided to move to Canada to a begin a new adventure together. Once in London, Ontario, Kellner Innovations Inc. was founded; a company that creates new and innovative products to make everyday life easier.
